And where are Trump souvenirs at the White House gift store?

I got a tip on Twitter that the Trump bobblehead was no longer being sold with the other presidents and first ladies at the White House gift store. The shop on 15th Street is private, but it is the closest to the White House, so it’s the main one tourists go to in order to buy souvenirs when visiting.

I decided to investigate myself. Watch the video below about what I found … and where are any souvenirs of Pres. Donald Trump in the other gift shops around the White House.

The investigation

This was the tweet I got with a photo showing there was no Trump bobblehead on display or in the boxes to purchase.

Shrunken Trump Bobblehead

When I got to the store, I found that the Trump bobblehead box had been restocked and a display model was back on the top of the shelves.

I noticed, however, that the doll was an odd size. Trump is positioned next to Hillary Clinton and they are the same height — even though she is no more than 5’6” in real life.

On his other side, he’s next to Pres. Barack Obama, who is about a head taller. But as you can see below, they are actually about the same height.

Where are Trump souvenirs near the White House?

I looked all through the White House gift store, and as you saw, I found very few souvenirs of the most recent former president — socks, a bookmark and one magnet.

Then I went to the official White House Visitor Center at 1450 Pennsylvania Ave. to look for Trump memorabilia there. As you can see in the video, there are many interesting gifts for sale, but there is nothing for the 45th president. However, Obama souvenirs are for sale right at the store’s entrance.

Next, I went to the White House History Shop, which is one block from Lafayette Square. It is run by the nonprofit White House Historical Association. There are many beautiful gifts there but nothing related to recent presidents, except their official White House Christmas ornaments.
