Ya know, you gotta wonder if this whole dust up isn't a planned curve in the road to create interest and improve ratings. See if a black host will bring in new viewers. The whole show has always seemed contrived to me, and I don't watch it. I wouldn't care, except I got to like Chris watching daytime Millionaire, and thought he was treated unfairly. It's kind of unusual he just got suspended and not fired. Maybe this was all planned to see if a black host or a woman would bring in a fresh audience. If yes, bye, bye Chris. If no, maybe it's time to send the whole show to cancel land and come up with something new. And speaking of something new, Chris has my vote for the new host of Jeopardy!

They can kiss my ass for this stunt, the Bachelor decided to use his Black half and ignored the fact that his white mother was abandoned with two mixed race boys to raise alone. So the girl has to be sorry for being white and Southern. Bull Crap on that.

Done with ABC. Matt James told Rachael she had some things to work on and I was like what?? She didn't know what she had done, it was just a party to her. To oust Chris Harrison for trying to make peace is a no brainer and I am done with that show and ABC. Classless & clueless ABC.

Matt James was looking for a problem the whole time. To watch those 2 gentlemen sit and berate that young woman for going to some ball was sickening. Chris Harrison has always been kind to all of the people on the show. I liked the show for entertainment value. Replacing the host because some spoiled young man wants to have a problem---it is a shame. Won't be watching that show. ABC can replace every show with Black hosts and someone will still have a problem. No one, BLACK, WHITE or any color should have to apologize for who they are . Or be ashamed of their race. But that is the new America and especially the new ABC

PS. I guess they civered up that Rachel's Dad is hispanic, thus her heritage. Why...did not fit the Cancel Culture push.

Looking for racism where it doesn’t exist doesn’t fix anything. The debacle with the Bachelorette got it a bunch of free press.... stacked the men pool with mixed races and the second girl went for the white guy.... so much manufactured drama.... but when you manufacture racism it’s going too far.

I watched as a comedy release from daily routine. I enjoy Chris Harrison as the host, he always looked top notch and he always was the staple to the craziness. I also believe this approach of raciest was aimed to replace him and a way out for Matt as well. I lost respect for Matt and without Chris as host I won’t be watching to see if the too tight of a suit gets tighter. Bring more Netflix for me.

I will not be watching anything bachelor nation again, I'm really disappointed in Matt James as he's not the man that I thought he was. If he had really loved this girl I think he would have supported her and worked it out. How could a white woman go on a dating show knowing that the date in question was a black man and be racist, knowing that the children that she wanted to have would also be black. Boo on you Matt James.

Excellently stated. Wish the best for Chris Harrison. He deserves to be treated so much better. No more Bachelor or Bachelorette for me.

Rachel Lindsey magnified whatever problems existed. She benefited immensely from this show by meeting her spouse, becoming recognizable and having a TV career as an interviewer. In return, she attacks the show, its host and its participants every chance she gets. There are many changes that need to take place in our society and challenges that need to be presented, but being abrasive and attacking and cancel culture will never achieve that change. I was so impressed with Emmanuel Acho tonight. He pointed out the issues and challenges but left everyone feeling encouraged and uplifted and with their dignity intact. Maybe Rachel Lindsey has as much learning to do as Rachel Kirkconnell.
