Great Story & kudos for the creativity involved in getting around! In these types of situations one has to think fast & just go with it. Had a similar situation that involved The Silver Spur Awards (early ‘aughts) in Universal City with actor Ernest Borgnine & director Ron Howard, the title of which should probably be something like “How I Led Ron Howard into a Broom Closet Without Even Trying!!!”

But that’s a story for another day. Well done Ma’dame!!! ;<)

I enjoy this story. Very creative of you to improvise, adapt, and overcome. Acting as Mr Brady's publicist was a nice touch. I enjoy hearing all your stories about how you do things and how you roll with the flow nicely. Sadly I was not aware of you until 2012, when I first saw you on Huckabee on FNC. However I am happy to follow you now and learn.

Thanks, funny story! Speaking of tall people - there is a man at my church who seems tall to me. Then I saw him with Governor Glenn Youngkin, and Gov. Youngkin was way taller than him! Have you met Gov. Youngkin?

Yer a slick trick gurl. I think you mighta been able to fit underneath his coat tails without anyone noticing....j/k!

That is a great story and as a Vet it makes me happy to hear that not all who play foosball (The Waterboy Movie - EM) think that they are going to war by playing a game. Most don't know the first damn thing about war and I appreciate the respect he gives to those who served.

You are funny Em !

Years ago I showed up at the Colo. Gov's. b-day party. My name wasn't on the list so State Patrol said "send him packing". Gov. Bill Owens saw the big group of TALL State Patrol officers who surrounded me. Owens said to the Commanding Officer "What's going on ?" He told Owens that I was trying to "crash his party." Owens said "Who ? Let me see his Drivers License, I might know him." I was quite "short" compared to the State Troopers & Owens couldn't see my face.

Where were you my friend Em back in 2002 ? I could have used your skill set !

He took my Driver's License & gave it to Owens. Owens took 3 seconds to look at it & said "Let him in. He's my personal photographer. He's been taking photo's for me for years." He gave me my Driver's License back & apologized over & over & over to me. We laughed. When I spoke to Owens later that night, he apologized as well & we filled each other in on the mix-up. Later in the evening, his wife at that time, Frances came up and gave me a big HUG and said "Thank You Michael, you have always been so kind, gracious & protective of me and our whole family for so many years."

About a year later on 5 of June 2004, I was taking photo's at the Colo. Republican State Convention. Frances saw me & called me over & gave me a HUG & then introduced me to the "Millionaire Wives Club". We all laughed. Humor is a great way to build rapport with people !

Later, Owens saw me BEHIND the rope line with the media. He got his assistants who called the Commanding Officer on her cell & Owens told him: "Make sure he has unlimited access, he's my personal photographer." Owens knew that being short I would be blocked by taller media folks so I got photo's others never got the chance to take. The sad part, later that afternoon it was announced that POTUS Reagan had just died. A quiet hush fell on the crowd. I cried along with hundreds of others. Reagan's birthday is Monday. Pray for his & Nancy's surviving children.

I have learned over my 40 years of doing photography, writing story's, videographer, sound engineer, Executive Protection and being a law enforcement officer - the kinder you are to most people, it comes back to you with friendships with those in authority because they remember your kindness & how you treated them with TOTAL RESPECT !
