I learned during my few years in DC that DC I’d just kabuki. DC cares about two things - money and power. Continue to tell the truth Emily. You’ll find the majority of America sides with you.

A few thoughts:

1) Hahn sounds like a weak leader - removing you from a position but asking you to stay on? Passing the buck to the people who recommended that action? He may be a good doctor/scientist but sounds like he was clearly in over his head in the leadership department.

2) My experience is military/DoD, so fortunately I have had little dealing with the political side. But I worked 3 years in the Pentagon and couldn't wait to get out of the DC area. The military part was nice but I did not like having to live in that environment. It's sad to see good people who are dedicated public servants get chewed up and spit out by Washington, and it makes me question the character of a lot of people who claim to really like it there.

I worked in politics (polling/general consulting) more than a decade ago. Thought I wanted to be the next “Lee Atwater” when I was kid. I got fired from the last consulting firm because I actually did my job and made sure clients paid us. Politics is horrible. I laugh now at the hurt I felt when I was booted. I teach at a community college and laugh at the politics folks get involved with on the academic side. It’s all so silly. BTW, my wife and I love your book on Gun rights.

I am not able to find the follow-up article explaining the statement that "convalescent plasma saved the lives of 35% of patients." It sounds strange considering that a much larger number than that of COVID patients survive with no treatment at all. If we are talking about percent of those who would have died without it, 35% is not all that great but as far as I know this was a true statement? Did you write that article?

You had a comment in there that really resonated with me. It was about how DC thinks it knows better for Americans and Americans do themselves. I’m paraphrasing but I think that spot on. I have traveled to over 30 states in the last seven months and I can promise you one thing that unifies this country is their hatred and loathing of Washington. I’m glad you are finally getting the truth out. Stay strong!

Washington reminds me of Hollywood. People of low moral character thrive here.

I remember that like it was yesterday, I'd just been reassigned to DC myself. DC is always gonna be DC, you deserve so much more than what they have to offer there. I'll retire from the Fed in a few short months and looking back, seeing what I've seen if I could do it over again I'd have never left Texas. Stay strong.

You feel like God has you here for a purpose, sometimes there’s no one else who could handle the struggle

I look forward to seeing you shed the light on the swamp and expose these bastards, it needs to happen, and from what I’m gathering not only should we have term limits on Congress but we probably need term limits on govt employees as well

Well, that's quite a traumatic experience.

But God works in mysterious ways, and you are lucky to have been "fired" from the FDA ahead of the vaccine, as we now know the vaccine not only doesn't work, but is actually harmful to a large number of people (myself included). Sufficient testing was never performed, and the tests that were performed were falsified and/or ruined by Pfizer and Moderna by design. I'd hate to have been the person in the position of pushing and defending the vaccine and then finding out that the whole vaccine was a giant criminal enterprise.

The only thing I have real skepticism about is the claim that you can get dressed and do your hair and makeup in 15 minutes. If this is true, can I please hire you to give lessons for my wife?
