What am abomination and we probably shouldn’t be surprised. More red tape BS out of the worst administration of my lifetime. Sad and appreciate your continued coverage...

Blue Falcons...Bravo Foxtrots... military slang for military people that betray their fellow military members for whatever reason. That is what the current regime in the Administration is, exactly like the Obama regime. It seems the entire Democratic National Committee is plumb full of these people who betray the American People and those who align with the American People. I really hope this person and family can be evacuated from Pakistan. Government of Pakistan is also untrustworthy, only the barest fraction better than the Talibandits.

If we could only get him and his family to Mexico. Then it’d be easy to get him into the US!

Emily,

Thank you for not forgetting about our friends, whom America seems to have turned its back on. Reading this had me feeling anger and resentment towards The US Government & Joe Biden.

If this message ever sees a State Department employee....shame on you.

I am in touch with a former Colonel of Afghan Army and member of former govt. Here in Canada we who were on the ground find it difficult to process POTUS Biden and his policy to leave folks behind.

Trump should go get them or Eric Prince. Then embarrass Biden by holding a press conference at airport.

This is disgraceful that the American government is moving very slowly and not getting these people out of there. What will the government say if this man and his family are betrayed by the Pakistani government and sent back to Afghanistan? Then killed by the Taliban! I agree with your readers who say that Trump should go over and expedite the visas for all of them and bring them back to the U.S, and then hold a press conference at the airport! Thank you Emily for keeping us updated on this.

I cannot get over this betrayal by our worthless leaders. Of all the terrible things that the Biden Admin has done, this is by FAR the most difficult to accept. How do they look in the mirror every day?

I am an Afghan and I personally have a p-2 case

Like me, hundreds of Afghans have p-2 cases and are currently in a precarious situation in Pakistan.

They have been living in Pakistan for eight months with many problems of grief.

I ask you to bring the problems of Afghan refugees to the US Congress so that the world understands that Afghans are also human beings.

Please make it public

URGENT: Saving SIVs and their family lives & please Prioritize their Visas ( US Embassy Islamabad)

Dear respected Emily,

Would you please raise our voice? We are in an incredibly difficult situation here in Pakistan. We even sent a letter to the ambassador. Such inaction will kill us and our family members. Please help us out. Please

Dear Ambassador:

It is an honor and a great pleasure for me to send you a letter of complaint on behalf of all those SIVs who have finished with their interviews but have been waiting months and months in Pakistan to finish processing their visas.

I also would like to extend my congratulations on your appointment as the Ambassador of the United States of America (USA) to Pakistan.

Dear Ambassador:

Special Immigrants Visa Holders (SIVs) are those who worked shoulder to shoulder with the US and its successor mission in Afghanistan. It is they who risked their lives, who sacrificed a lot for the 20 years in Afghanistan with some different roles and positions. They have already been through a lot of difficulties even in Afghanistan right after the fall of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan ( GIRoA). Almost all of them were desperately hiding out, displaced without any employment opportunities for a few months. As they have managed to escape from Afghanistan to Pakistan but have been waiting months and months for the U.S. Embassy Islamabad to finish processing their visas. Although most of the SIVs applicants have already completed all steps in the visa process in Kabul, Afghanistan.

In addition to that, most of the SIV Applicants stayed more than their Pakistan visa’s stay duration which made them to pay visa overstay penalty charges, and almost all SIVs are now facing a great financial hardship, spent every penny they had during the escape from Taliban and stay in Pakistan (food, housing, medication, utilities and etc.) Making us wait in Islamabad for months is undue hardship, and goes against President Biden's statement that we will do everything possible to evacuate all our allies to safety. Therefore, I together with the Copied SIVs applicants in the email, request your immediate action to save all those who have already finished with their interviews and have been waiting months and months for the U.S. Embassy Islamabad to finish processing their visas. We are in an incredibly difficult situation and are desperately seeking ways out of Pakistan. Many have already been out of money and spent their savings and have no other financial support. They have paid for the medical examinations (required) for the interview and they have also been keeping paying for their monthly house rent, medical care, transportation entirely out of pocket and day to day expenses. And different charges and bills that are being received like, Electricity bills, Gas bills, Water bills etc. And we are now completely running out of money.

Many have already moved into hiding and may soon take the Perilous step of looking for a way over land borders. We may not have worn a uniform or received a US government paycheck, but for the better part of twenty years they have fought alongside US interests for a new, rights-respecting, forward-looking, knowledge-based Afghanistan. Hundreds of us traveled to the United States to seek an education and returned to our homeland, dedicated to values of openness and tolerance. These are not the values of the Taliban, so our lives are now at risk. Timely US Embassy action can still make an enormous difference, and maybe yet save SIVs lives. We implore you to act on their behalf now.

Specifically, we seek immediate action from USDOS and relevant USG departments and agencies

To:

•Continue issuing visas for SIVs those who have finished with their interviews: for as long as possible so as to include SIVs finished interview status, do not end issuing visas until all are safely out.

•Accelerate the post-interview administration process which is the longest wait time in the visa issuance process. Thanks in advance

Note: You may only reply to the sender of this email. Due to security and privacy His Excellency Ambassador is Bcc in the email. There are more than 900 SIVs applicants who are in the same situation as we are now. Please , we are in a dire need of your support and immediate action is needed. Attached are also the list of those SIVs applicants who are CC in the email as well.

Once again, thank you so much for your usual support and assistance and looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks a lot. Honorable Ambassador Your quick action and response will be greatly appreciated.

Yours Sincerely,

Mashal Sherullah
