This is a beautiful story of raw courage. I hope those persons that do not desire to live under the thrall of Taliban and Deobandi Control eventually receive freedom. Under the principle of freedom of religion, the Taliban do get to believe as they do, though we here in a more benevolent nation recognize that the Deobandi Islam of the Taliban is far from actual religion and more of a control scheme. A scheme that sacrifices a lot of personhood for a principle I find more of an element of Satan.

Hello Emily - your outstanding work continues to pay dividends to those whom you have endeavored so diligently to assist. Thank you for your ongoing compassion and your contribution to righting the wrong done to these people.

I also guessed the stone was lapis - treasured worldwide for its color and beauty, and for which Afghanistan is well known. I have a smaller piece which I cherish, brought home to me from Afghanistan by a deployed service member, in honor of my son.

Congratulations on the recognition and the beautiful Plaque of Gratitude, Emily !

If one does the Math, this means Biden left 70 people behind in Afghanistan. I personally believe there are a whole lot more than that. Do I have the factual Evidence to back this up ? No. My theory is not ALL of the US military women and men made it to the airport, BEFORE, the last plane took off.

These were the brave women and men who were deeply embedded (100+ miles) behind enemy lines who daily risked their lives to feed INTEL back to the military base about what they were seeing and what the Taliban's future plans were. I base this on the fact that many US military personnel were also left behind in Vietnam. And as most of us know, most democRats despise the US MIlitary.

Is Awaldar still looking for a job in Norfolk ? With his background at the US Embassy, why isn't he able to do Translation/Interpreting work for the Feds ? He would know "slang, customs, culture" etc. better than any student who just earned a Degree at a Big State University. He and Asas are in my prayers.
