To all those commenting from Afghanistan- I don't reply in the public domain (websites, Facebook, Twitter) because I don't want the Taliban to see your connection to an American when they check your phones.
I know you are scared. I am very sorry that Pres. Biden and the U.S. government has failed you.
I promise that we the citizens are doing everything in our power to get you rescued and to pressure our State Department to expedite visas and evacuation.
Personally I am using my public platform as a journalist to continue to tell the truth about what is happening in Afghanistan and how people who were left behind are so scared for their lives. I will not stop until everyone is safe.

This is without question the single most shameful thing a President has ever done. Rasmussen just published a poll saying that 70% of Americans feel shame because of this. Can’t even imagine what the other 30% are thinking. Messaging for ‘22 most likely.
The last few days we’ve learned the administration has killed 10 civilians. 10 innocent people dead. I understand one of these people was a dad bringing water home to his family. We killed 10 people and our commander in chief went to his beach house.
Thank you Emily for allowing us Americans to be able to share our hearts with those who have been abandoned by our govt in US!

Please know many Americans are heartbroken over this, embarrassed of our govt and horrified to hear that there is not a urgency in this matter. Please know many Americans are keeping you in prayers that God will provide miracles and keep you safe, fed and clothed and hopefully rescued soon.
Many in our military are crushed in spirit that this is all happening.
I hope this touches the hearts of those in Afghanistan ….. our government may not be responding to you but many Americans are keeping you all lifted up in prayer! It deeply affects us!
You are not forgotten. We are doing everything we can to pressure our government officials to evacuate our Allies, Americans and at risk women and girls. Please know we care about you and are not giving up. ❤️
hey Emily how are u i am one of the afghans that worked more then 16 years with american and applied for SIV on 2014
i received a dinail email on 2020 becouse of luck of saficiant document HR and recommondation letter then my direct american supervisor mad both fresh and updated.
i re send them to SIV program and apealed my case and it is still under reveiw and also me and my familly are stuck in afgganistan waiting for my com approvel i have not receved any thing apdated by now
Thank you so much Emily for your involvement in this Spec OP. I am praying for all of these people and there safety and escape from this country. The retired military and others who are continuing the battle for these people are truly remarkable. I also pray for them to have the stamina, financial backing and God’s mighty protection through all of this.
Dear fellow Americans and Afghan friends, you are NOT forgotten!! Prayers are continually being said to our Faithful God on your behalf....please remember you are NOT forgotten. Many are working on your behalf, do not lose hope, hold on!

Right now my life is very danger due to sutuation .
I have SIV process and my cas under review almost 7 months.
