Frankly, I think resettling all Afghans in the US is wrong-headed and bad policy. They can be safely kept in the region. Unless we are basically saying we’re going to allow the growth of a terrorist super state in Afghanistan, the Afghan people need to be in region to take their country back when appropriate.

While I'm happy that you think Ms Jones will do well here, I still believe that the entire foreign relations policy of the United States in relation to the current Afghan ruling regime is very tenous and questionable. Taliban will Taqiya with impunity when it suits them no matter what. Deobandi Islam tenets reject our perception of natural God given rights to all humans. To the Taliban and other perverted Islamic regimes it's their way or you're dead on the highway. Ms Jones may be capable indeed.
