It does fall on how knowledgeable the jury will be on firearms, safety procedures, how they operate, also is his liberal popularity plays out, will a jury be biased by that over what has happened to this young lady. I would hope the latter is not a part of whatever the jury decides. And the prosecution can educate the jury on responsibility of someone using a firearm and its operation.
