Emily I used Swisscows search engine, looking for “Salvation Army wokeness initiative”. First page of results (8 articles) included wsj, Newsweek, daily signal, and others. Dated 2021 2022. They lost a lot of $$, which is tragic, given the good work they’ve always done.
But what I DIDNT see was an apology, or indication that they no longer participate in this clown show. Are they just quieter about it?
I heard Ben Carson speak sept 2022 at Peoria IL Salvation Army fundraiser (my hubby’s sister is very active on their women’s auxiliary board), and gave a lot while there, so I haven’t completely cut them off, at least on the local level.
I’ll see if I can find something. I emailed them about it...said I was really sorry, but I could not support them if they were part of the DEI/CRT woke circus. 🤡
Is the Salvation Army still woke? I used to give to them every year, but sent my dollars elsewhere since 2021 after hearing the CRT/DEI “education” they were requiring of their employees...I haven’t heard any updates on that recently though.
