“The idea 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick,” said Biden.

??! Who the hell is this "we".

It doesn't sound at all like "We the People".

Heller, McDonald, Bruen.

Look it up, Joe.

I'm still waiting for someone to actually define "assault weapon" or "assault rifle".

Recognized the revolver was fake immediately. The flintlock replica may be able to be fired, but that would certainly be complicated by it's lying on it's side, which means the powder in the flash pan may or may not be where it needs to be so it can flash and ignite the black powder charge. If it's not loaded and primed, I doubt most children would know how to put the proper charge of powder and the patched ball down the barrel and the proper amount of powder in the flash pan. The ignorance of the anti-gunners never ceases to amaze me, Shotgun Joe especially.

If it was just their ignorance, that would be bad enough, but their insistence on remaining ignorant is maddening. and not having that ignorance challenged by the press is even worse. Joe Biden simply blurts phrases that appeal to certain constituencies. He doesn't know what he's talking about and doesn't care. A consummate politician.

I thought about what Dr. Sakran said. As with many things, a blanket statement isn’t appropriate. In a home where there are children or anyone who cannot responsibly manage a firearm safely, then yes, the gun is to be secured. I don’t have kids, it’s only my wife and I. If I so choose, I could leave my firearm within east reach at night and it doesn’t make me reckless. As with all of you, I saw right away, Musks’ guns are not working guns, I didn’t give the tweet much thought at the time.

The gun safety message is a good one, but the value gets lost when angry or scared people try to leverage the message for their point of view.

If I left my pistol in the beside table, one of the cats would certainly try to knock it off the table at night. But it’s close. Very close.

To address the points who tweeted their opposition:

- Guttenberg about inciting violence: How does protecting oneself “incite” violence? Maybe if a teacher had been armed at Parkland, fewer kids would have been murdered.

- Dr. Sakran storing weapons unloaded and locked: What would he recommend to protect his family in the event of a home invasion? Is he willing to bet his life that the bad guys won’t kill someone? Regarding his trauma center, does he recommend we stop driving cars, because I’d bet he sees more car accident victims than he does shooting victims.

- Newtown, recommending storage in a safe separate from ammo: Completely ignores the reasons for owning a gun in the first place. I suppose you could always throw the safe at the bad guy.

- Shannon Watts, regarding the 4.6M children living in homes with unsecured firearms: I agree...if you have kids, keep your guns away from them. But somehow 99.9999% of those kids have not been shot by their parents’ guns.

- Sophia Nelson, on where she keeps her guns: So, why do you own guns at all? Do you actually carry your firearms, and if so, why? Do you assume you’ll ONLY need them during the day? And would you feel better if that [fake] pistol had been in a holster?

My point is that, if you’re going to own a gun for self-defense, you need to be able to get to it quickly. If you have kids, the trade off is between keeping the guns away from them, yet accessible in an emergency. My kids are grown, so my pistol is in a nightstand drawer, but when the grandkids show up, it’s locked. I don’t like biometric safes...I haven’t found one that works every time, and the key lock isn’t fast enough. None of Musk’s detractors seem to understand the basic fact that a gun is nothing but the last layer of protection if someone defeats your deadbolts, your alarm system, and the lock on your bedroom door. With luck, you’ll never need to use it, but I’d rather use every tool at my disposal, just in case.

Good evening. Being prepared to defend oneself by any means necessary is something I definitely encourage. Being prepared period...been practicing that for a long time.

Ms Emily, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving weekend. I certainly did. More fun then I've had lately. At least I had fun acquiring my new Akubra Australian Army Slouch Hat. I'm just preparing it for my tastes. My other non Akubra Slouch Hat is also ready for use. I admire the Diggers. I've thought the Aussie Slouch Hat is cool ever since I saw Rat Patrol with the American Sergeant wearing one during the WWII Africa Campaign which the show portrayed.

Ms Emily, may I ask you what you think of Mr Mark Levin? I think he's a good joe and all. However on his Fox News Sunday night program, the things he says are really curdling my piss within my entire system. Biden Administration plus their cohorts shredding our rights and causing us to fear for our security. What are your thoughts?

Dear Emily,

I just wanted to express my gratitude to you for your friendship. It’s always a blessing to see your wisdom whether it’s here on Substack, YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Fraud-book, and Instagram etc.

In today’s world, we need to know who supports us and has our back. Someone told a friend of mine recently online something someone told them about me. He said: “Michael K. is a real a~~hole. He talks too much on Substack, YouTube etc. Why would anyone EVER want to be his friend ?” Rather than become bitter, I took their words to heart & so now I talk less and try to listen more.

I see my place on whatever Social Media that I am on, is to encourage, promote and support you every day. I do this in a number of different ways and what I have seen works the best is to “engage the audience” by getting them to open up. It’s why I ask questions. Am I perfect ? No. Will I make mistakes ? Yes. I think we all make mistakes.

A few years ago I was talking to someone who was a “mentor” to me. Out of nowhere he said: “Michael, there’s just one thing I can’t stand about my wife.” I was stunned because he and his wife had been married for over 50 years. He said: “Michael, I just can’t stand it when I go in the bathroom and there’s her hair all over the sink and on the counter.” I stayed SILENT for several minutes.

Finally, I said to him: “Think about what you just said. For some men their wives have passed away over the years. Then there’s other men like me who have never been married. Honestly Dave, I think that’s a very small issue. I would rather have a wife who left her hair on the sink, than go through life single and be alone most days.”

Dave stood there for a few seconds, paused and then torrents of tears fell down from his cheeks. With unfathomable pain in his words he replied: “You know Michael, you are right. G-D forgive me for not appreciating my wife and loving her like YOU love her JESUS.” G-D’s desire is for restoration in our relationships.

So I ask you Emily, if I have ever said something online that hurt you, I ask you to please forgive me. I am not perfect – I make mistakes.

Why do democRATS put ALL Law Abiding gun owners into the SAME basket ? Because it "pads" their numbers so they can make it "look" like their Laws are working when in reality "soft on crime" laws do NOT lower Felonys committed because, criminals know they can plea bargain their Felony down.

Over 99.99% of LAW ABIDING gun owners have NEVER shot anyone in self defense or in a home invasion. HOWEVER, if I was married, my #1 job is to protect my wife & our children, & yes I own guns, and yes, If someone enters our home "go ahead - make my day" !

The very democRATS who love to bring up the story's of children getting access to guns, seldom if

ever bring up the parents who are selling "street drugs or sex or BOTH" and the children in these deplorable conditions, that NO ONE should have to live in ! Why not ?

They won't because the parents creating, making, selling and distributing these "street drugs" should get an additional TEN years for "child endangerment" they are allowing children in these locations. The answer is not "drug legalization, but TOUGHER PRISON Penalty's for the Felony's of the parents.

Totally off subject, but we ALL need to laugh more. Porch thief is caught by home owners.

Home Owners give chase and Porch Thief gets ENSNARED in ten inches of snow.

Eventually Police arrive . . . . I wonder if the engine & transmission now need re-built ?

"I’ll let one of you experts tell me what is a flintlock in the comments." To find out what a flintlock is - or what just about anything is - Wikipedia first!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flintlock

A flintlock is one of several mechanisms to light the powder in a muzzle loading firearm, or the firearm with the flintlock mechanism. When the trigger is pulled, a sharpened piece of flint scrapes against a piece of steel, making sparks and pushing the cover off a tray of priming powder, igniting the priming powder. The fire then travels through a small hole into the barrel, lighting the powder behind the bullet.
