I wouldn't do anything differently; I was skeptical of the government's version of the truth then and will always remain skeptical. I didn't buy into the hype. My wife and I kept our wits about us and explained to our children this was a good lesson in understanding how out of control government can manipulate the masses. We never considered getting the jab, and tried our best to convince family and friends not to.

Scamdemic. May the heads roll.

I think people are still wearing masks because they are not open minded enough to do their own research and disagree with the mainstream media. I have not been vaccinated nor have I gotten sick. And even though my uncle was the first person to die in Virginia, I wouldn’t do anything different.

Living in S. Florida, we went back to normal pretty quickly. Everyone vilified FL when it happened, but tons of NYers came down here and started opening businesses, restaurants, etc. Find it hard to believe that up until end of last year, early this year, some states were still living like it's 2020.

In March 2020, we felt 9/11 vibes - like everyone coming together as Americans do - when facing a common threat. But after two weeks, we realized this was BS. When the vaccines were announced, we knew it would become a huge division. Glad we never succumbed to the peer pressure, but it did strain a lot of relationships.

It's crazy how many people are still living like it's 2020, or still thinking the boosters stop anything.

I would have stopped wearing masks even sooner than I did. As it was, I was one of the very first to start appearing maskless in local stores, completely in violation of the governor's and the health departments mask orders.

People are sheep. They want no responsibility, so they do whatever Big Daddy Government says. People who are wearing masks in their car while alone should be committed. Branch Covidians are the worst.

I was literally just texting with my brother about this. I graduated HS in 2020. He has another year to go. We were talking about Matt Taibbi’s post about the Aspen Institute war-gaming the Hunter Biden Laptop story months before it was a story. I texted, “damn they sure predicted that story - lol. Too bad they couldn’t predict how bad their COVID laws going on at the same time would f’ck us all up.”

He texted back: “I dunno how they decide generations, but we stopped being Gen Z. Your class was the start of Gen ‘20.”

THAT. I would change THAT.

A lot of people are just running on inertia by wearing masks. They've done it for so long they just keep doing it.

I still see people alone in their cars wearing masks. Makes me wonder what they are thinking - but then again they're probably not thinking at all.

When it first started prior to my retirement I worked a lot of overtime in the NYC subways enforcing the overnight service shutdowns. The subway can be nasty under any circumstances but at the time I felt more comfortable wearing an N95 respirator since we usually had them available. If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't have bothered. Every time I went into work I'd see if we had any N95s and if we did I'd grab a few. I must have a whole case of them down in my basement, along with hand sanitizer spray lol.

I got two Moderna shots - not because I had to but because enough time had passed that they seemed safe. Fortunately I suffered no ill effects (except for a day or two post-vaccination) but if I could go back in time I would have chosen differently. I finally got COVID in March 2022 and while it wasn't fun it was far from what I suffered with a bad case of the flu a few years earlier.

I would have been quicker to call BS on the Pandemic Panic Narrative.

It was obvious by February of 2020 that the numbers just weren't adding up. What I failed to comprehend then was the degree to which the governments of the world were willing to use COVID as an excuse to promote a great global power grab by every wannabe authoritarian imaginable.

I failed to grasp the degree to which the Pandemic Panic Narrative would be accepted by most people. If I were to do it over again I would have pushed back harder against the propaganda.

It’s funny that at the recent Atlanta CDC meeting to celebrate the end of the pandemic that at least 35 attendees so far contracted SC2!

I would have monitored my son’s illness more closely (he was 44 years old) and sat with him to make certain he was taking all the things called for by the FLCCC protocol instead of assuming he was taking care of it himself.

His best friend called the rescue squad when he got very sick instead of us, his parents, and he was taken in, held hostage by the hospital, tortured then killed in Oct 2021.

He left behind a brother and 2 children plus his parents. We grieve still.

What I would have done differently re the outset of Covid:

Bob Woodward, of Woodward and Bernstein Watergate fame, not only interviewed Trump but also taped Trump's comments in January of 2020.

At that time, Trump publically dismissed the seriousness of Covid

However, at that time, Trump said -- and Woodward has this on tape --- that Covid was poised to wreck Havoc on America becasue A) it was much, much deadlier than the Flu and B) much more easily transmissable than the flu.

We could have taken action in January (Actually, it was raging in China at the end of 2019 and we should have taken action then)

We should have:

A) Used the Defense production act to COMPEL factories, in the US, to make MASKS, VENTILATORS AND OTHER DESPERATELY NEEDED equipment. As a right wing republican married to Laissez faire capitalism, Trump would not do this. At the outset, we were told masks were not required becasue their wasn't enough to go around.

B) Trump; and other public figures should have worn masks in public to educate people to the necessity of taking precautions, etc.

C) We should have taken charge of the FDA which was facing an abysmal time in designing a test for Covid

D) We should have been more alert to malfeasance in China

E) We should have had another president -- someone who wouldn't suggest that we inject ourselves with Bleach

By the end of May 2020 and into June 2020, we knew something wasn’t right and this was about control. In our business we put a sign out telling people we where not the mask police and went against government orders by not forcing people to mask and stayed open. Into the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021 we were fined over $100k by the State of Oregon. We believed people should choose how they responded to COVID. And we paid dearly for choosing freedom and choice. So many other businesses wanted to do what we did but in the end where too afraid of being fined or losing a liquor license.

Why do people still mask? Fear is one, but for all these younger people still masking? It’s a way for them to hide and not interact within the community around them. It’s really pure evil in my opinion.

COVID is just the beginning of more government control and a taking away of freedoms and liberty.

The Feds started the FEAR porn and the States amped up the FEAR. Why ? It's easier to CONTROL people with FEAR than with TRUTHFUL FACTS. Many years ago, only sick people were quarantined, NOT healthy people !

Masks were FORCED. I almost passed out more than once running to an Emergency call wearing an N95. Each shift was like a scene from the Twilight Zone and we were cursed at daily because people were ANGRY. Is it any wonder why the suicide rate is up in the US ?

Doctors Mary Talley-Bowden, Zeb Zelenko, Richard Bartlett, Simone Gold, Stella Immanuel & Bryan Ardis were the Doctor's I listened to INSTEAD of the evening "talking heads" on the News. Where's the Federal investigation to see who bought and traded Stock of the Jab manufacturers, especially those in the US government ?

I had shelf stable food in reserve and am building up my "medicine cabinet" with things other than band-aids and rubbing alcohol i.e. vitamins, herbs, supplements, IVM etc. I'm thankful Emily has "Emily Posts News" because it gave a lot of us an outlet to "vent" what we saw and heard. Yes, I lost several friends to Covid, that I loved. But was it Covid, the side effects / adverse reactions, or was it the Jab or booster that killed them. . . . I admit, I don't trust the government !
