Adaptability is excellent for anyone. I am delighted you have it. Nice pictures. BTW I now have a permanent residence in Hillsborough County New Hampshire that's just nearly perfect for me. If God had planned a perfect place for me to be cozy and fulfilled this place would definitely be it. I have not professionally appeared on TV that I am actively aware of. My Dad worked for Channel 11 in Golden Valley Minnesota from 1966 to 2008 as a electronics technician. He helped out the News Team. I think.my Dad would have helped you out too if you had ever run across him. Dad was Tech Emperor. I'm merely a nerd with some knowledge compared to him. I miss him actually.

Here's a story idea for you Emily.

Congress folks being allowed to participate in financial transactions where there is a CONFLICT of interest. Why are Members of Congress are given and allowed INSIDER information (the average person will NEVER have) and many times the Congress folks will then vote on issues that will affect a company or companys price of their stock ? Then these same members of Congress & their family members buy and sell stock using this INSIDER information.

Martha Stewert was arrested, convicted and spent time in Prison for purchasing stock years ago on less INSIDER information than members of Congress i.e. Nancy Pelosi, are getting RICH from.

I found an IFB called a "Sidekick 3" worked well for me when working from home. I purchased an open box mono version for a fairly reasonable price. Rather than depend upon custom molding, it is EXTREMELY tiny and fits deep in the ear canal out of sight. It has a very thin Kevlar cord that's almost invisible, and it's made to directly work with phones and regular audio jacks.

If anything happens to your current IFB, it might be a more economical alternative than another using a custom molded earpiece.

Glad you have your old IFB ear piece and cable with the 1/8 inch male jack.

How long of cable do you need ? You can order this one in 10, 15, 30, or 100 feet in length as the male end will plug into your computer and the female end of this cable into your IFB ear-piece. The ad doesn't state if the cable is "shielded" or not. A shielded cable is usually a better quality because it will help prevent distracting noises such as a "hum" or "electrical" or "other" noise.

As a teen, my Pastor walked as he preached. The florescent lights in the sanctuary also created audio "noise". One day he asked me to solder the two ends of the cable with the 1/4 inch male & female ends he had so he could walk out further. I did & plugged it into my cassette Recorder (yes, this tells you how OLD I am lol lol). I hit RECORD & stretched the cable out in my parents home. The 100 foot cable (acted like an antennae) and picked up the strongest signal - the local radio station. This is HOW I learned there's a difference in cable: shielded & unshielded. If the cable is unshielded, the shorter the better to avoid unwanted "noise".

When you start doing one on one interviews, try to interview Comedian Terrence Williams. I don't think he's related to the late Robin Williams, but he is a SOLID conservative and can get almost anyone to laugh. When my mom was dying of cancer when I was a teenager, she really impressed upon me two things: stay strong in your faith with JESUS and remember to laugh, these two will get you through anything !

Here's a short video of Terrence I think you will like. Have a fabulous weekend friend !
