Great to see the Kennedy Center kept their word to you Emily and to you also, Ed. It's a beautiful building - thank you for sharing the interior with us in your video. But the weather and the clouds and the sun going down - was absolutely stunning in the final seconds of your video "a little something extra" ! Aren't the angels incredible painters. . . .

I predict the Feds and thus the KC will re-instate masks before the end of the year.

On a personal note: tomorrow my dad would have been 87. He was killed. It's still hard walking in forgiveness towards the man who did it. Sadly, the man who did it got off 100% Scot Free - which makes it an even harder day. I've spent the last 3 weeks in prayer & tears. I apologize to anyone in this thread/group if I have said or done anything that hurt or offended you & I apologize for "chatting too much on here". My Asperger's Syndrome sneaked out. It's NEVER easy to LET GO of someone who you love & have no one to chat with about it ! Your prayers are deeply appreciated friends and family !

Nice to know that some entities stick to their commitments. Unfortunately there need to be more entities committed to the sanctity of the human condition and to supporting and defending the God given rights and freedoms we have.

I was in D.C. this week for the first time in just about a year, at a federal agency office building that I hadn't been to since March 2020, where I work as a contractor. My last time in D.C. was was actually to a city building (MPD HQ), and was the last time I had worn a mask, except for a couple of flights in the following couple of months (even on those, I barely had it on).

Anyhow, when I got there, I saw signs all over the place saying "masks required beyond this point" and a couple of big signs near the security desk, some big thing about proof of "vaccination" or having a negative test and a bunch of stuff about not having any symptoms and all of that. It was pretty deserted - it's a very large building and I may have seen about 10-15 people at most the entire hour or so I was there, and I think I only saw one other person NOT wearing a mask. I had to interact with about 3 people including the security guard and no one said anything. No one asked for any proof of vaccination or any of that (normally I'd walk right in but my access card didn't work since I hadn't been there in 2+ years, so I wasn't sure what to expect). There were more mask signs at the entrances to all the rooms/offices I had to go to, all the restrooms, elevators, conference rooms, etc. So yeah they weren't being enforced but compliance was nearly universal.

Anyway, just thought I'd share in case you thought the Kennedy Center thing was a sign that D.C. had regained its sanity.

It’s not panic. JB used the “Fed money” (OUR TAXES) to balance the IL budget and keep his Lemming supporters satiated.

Other than some doctor's offices, the mask BS went away a long time ago in AZ.
