People, when handed a firearm, unless trained repeatedly, put their finger on the trigger.

Go to a class and you will hear, "Finger off the trigger”. Of course Alec is above doing this.

Any revolver, when the hammer is drawn back, sets the trigger. At that point it takes very light pressure on the trigger to fire the gun. If the hammer is released without controlling the hammer, it too could cause the firearm to discharge. Regardless of all the above. Alec is at fault. Gun was in his hand. Make sure the firearm is empty, Finger off the trigger, never point at anything you’re not willing to destroy. He failed to do all the above and he killed someone. Was it murder? Maybe not. Was it excusable? NO!

Alec your acting skills are showing!

His story makes zero sense and he held the gun, pulled the hammer back c pointed it at another him. The gun didn’t do that. I think he’s lying about pulling the trigger but it still doesn’t matter. If you point a gun at another human you are responsible. Period.

Wow, this is “it’s the guns fault” all day long, he won’t accept responsibility

He would be found negligently culpable and probably have to pay the family, which I’m sure he would actually do but it seems like he wants to shirk all the responsibility so if the family does come after him he won’t have to pay

He’s trying to be found not guilty in the court of public opinion

If Alec wasn't such a tool, I would feel sorry for him. But if this happened to anyone OUTSIDE the movie industry, he would be all over them on Twitter and any other platform. His lawyers are running damage control and interference.

I would like to know why the local sheriff did not question Baldwin over a homicide? He was allowed to flee New Mexico. Unheard of.

Emily, check on this with your experts: on a single action revolver, without a hammer safety, if the hammer is pulled back, say 95% of the way, and doesn’t fully catch… when you let go, the hammer will drop.

It does not matter what Baldwin says about the trigger or hammer. He is clearly guilty of involuntary manslaughter under New Mexico law because he did not use due caution and circumspection when he shot and killed Halyna Hutchins.

"Manslaughter is the unlawful killing of a human being without malice...

Involuntary manslaughter consists of manslaughter committed in the commission of... a lawful act which might produce death... without due caution and circumspection.

Whoever commits involuntary manslaughter is guilty of a fourth degree felony."

Leave the guy alone, he is in his own hell right now and there is no reason to lower ourselves to the level of idiots. Besides the fact that he killed a human being which will be laying on his conscience for the rest of his life, his career is over, no insurance company is going to cover him for another movie plus he faces endless lawsuits, he is utterly destroyed on every level. Instead can we focus on the Marxist domestic enemies currently occupying our government? It amazes me how many people are absolutely in the dark about how insanely dangerous it is right now with the Biden occupation in power. Russia is about to invade the Ukraine, China is about to invade Taiwan, and Iran is a hairs breath from a nuclear weapon and meanwhile nobody says sh-- about the Americans still stuck in Afghanistan. Biden is beyond an absolute disaster and any day it is going to utterly explode and a hell of a lot of people are going to lose their lives. Who the F cares about Alec Baldwin??

Emily, awhile back, you suggested a YouTube channel to me, The Behavior Panel. I find myself applying some of the tactics I learned from the professionals on The Behavior Panel. I noticed things Baldwins eyes while he speaks, his body posturing, the irritation when confronted with George Clooney comments. I look forward to the Behavior Panels’ analysis of Baldwin. In closing, I just say It’s typical for Alec Baldwin to no longer feel shame or guilt, given his history of, in my opinion, narcissism and conceitedness. He’s violent, short tempered and doesn’t know when to shut up.

I would not know how to check a revolver that I knew was loaded, to ensure that every round was a blank and not a live bullet, short of removing each cartridge from the gun one at a time and inspecting to see what it is. Which is possible but not easy with a single action revolver of this type. If he was not supposed to be shooting the gun at all, then it should have been completely unloaded and easily checked at that time. If he was planning to shoot blanks, even if just trying a couple of hammer cocks before pulling the trigger, then the script and the (blank) shooting and the filming should all have agreed not pointing at anyone. But he said the trigger would not be pulled at all in that scene, so it should have been completely unloaded and Baldwin should have checked that this was so before doing anything else.

(1) The kill gun needs to be checked for malfunction. (2) Remember, the armorer was said to have taken crew out for fun target practice. Perhaps it was Used—a Lot—between Baldwin’s training on the gun, and the killing—POINT being, there may have been many opportunities for the gun to develop mechanical problems.

My thoughts about Baldwin tend to focus on Baldwin's lack of testicles and penis, in the figurative sense, based on Baldwin's statements made on the interview. I previously spoke regarding the hammer. The forearms expert you interviewed pretty much confirms some of my speculation. As to whether the assistant director is speaking truthfully, God knows more on that. Baldwin is proven a coward in my view. His views to me are now more feces excreted by herd animals then actual proper common sense positions.

Go get a revolver, load it,and .partially pull hammer back but not far enough for sear on trigger to engage .now let go...it will fire just as if you pulled the trigger, every time.
